Abstract

The articles contained in the volume “Public Interventions, Intimate Configurations: Latin American and Caribbean Women Writers between 1870 and 1940” follow a tradition of feminist criticism focused on the recovery and visualization of the literary production of Latin American and Caribbean women writers.

Author Biography

Lucía Stecher Guzmán, Universidad de Chile

Doctora en Literatura, Académica del Departamento de Literatura y del Centro de Estudios Culturales Latinoamericanos de la Universidad de Chile. Sus líneas de investigación son: literatura caribeña, escritura de mujeres, literatura y migraciones. Entre sus últimas publicaciones se cuentan el libro Narrativas migrantes del Caribe: Michelle Cliff, Edwidge Danticat y Jamaica Kincaid publicado el 2016 por Ediciones Corregidor de Buenos Aires y diversos artículos sobre escritoras caribeñas (Ana Roqué, Dulce María Loynaz, Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, entre otras).
