Teaching of Language and Literature. A (provisional) type of classes at the Secondary Level

The classic notion of "didactic configurations" (Litwin, 1995) constitutes, on the one hand, a criterion for the analysis of classes of Language and Literature in the framework of an activity of non-participant observations by students of the Chair Practical I. Didactics of Language and Literature; on the other hand, a starting point for the design of a descriptive typology of Language and Literature classes at the secondary level, in schools in the city of Santa Rosa, La Pampa (Argentina). Three variables support the descriptive model: the disciplinary content; the particular strategies that are deployed to favor the processes of knowledge and the teacher-student link. With this tripartite anchorage, several types of classes are isolated according to the needs of the current programming and / or the cognitive needs of the students
