Resumen

La fiebre de leche o hipocalcemia continúa siendo una de las enfermedades
metabólicas de mayor prevalencia en la industria lechera,
como consecuencia a una continua selección de los animales por productividad.
En la presente revisión se describen nuevos aspectos de la
enfermedad, interacciones minerales, tratamientos y medidas preventivas
bajo confinamiento y en pastoreo.
