Uma genealogia da história das emoções

Durante muito tempo as emoções careceram de interesse para os historiadores. Não obstante, desde princípios do século XXI a emoção transformou-se em uma categoria analítica e em um objeto de investigação autônomo. A indagação desta temática deu lugar à configuração de um campo florescente e de rápida expansão. Este trabalho tem dois propósitos. Por um lado, delineia o percurso no qual ganhou forma a história das emoções a partir de uma perspectiva transdisciplinaria e de um diálogo teórico e metodológico com as ciências sociais e as humanidades, como também com as ciências biomédicas e as neurociências. Por outro lado, apresenta os debates atuais e esboça algumas das direções futuras do campo.Downloads
