Infraestruturas globais e alfabetização metodológica nas Humanidades Digitais. O caso do The Programming Historian em espanhol

O desenvolvimento das Humanidades Digitais na América Latina tem sido prejudicado pelas deficiências em infraestrutura e alfabetização digital na região, e agravado pela falta de abordagens multidisciplinares nas universidades e instituições. O The Programming Historian é um projeto que teve origem no Canadá em 2007 e se tornou uma infraestrutura global para a criação, pesquisa e divulgação de conteúdos associados à formação autônoma de habilidades computacionais, realizada por e para humanistas. Este artigo explora os desafios e as estratégias que permitiram construir uma rede global de historiadores e humanistas em torno de uma publicação de fluxos metodológicos que abordam a pesquisa baseada em dados. O The Programming Historian não contém apenas tutoriais, mas também criou uma rede de prática que se estende por vários países. Argumenta-se que ele constituiu um modelo de infraestrutura, alfabetização metodológica e colaboração para o aproveitamento de recursos comuns em prol da criação de conhecimento humanístico. Além disso, destaca-se que seu modelo pode ser replicado na América Latina e em outras regiões do Sul Global para enfrentar as dificuldades na construção de infraestruturas de alto nível para as ciências humanas.
