Abstract

Initial teacher training policies have reached a prominent place on the governments’ agenda and training for professional practice has been gaining importance in training programs. The article presents a review of the relations-hips among the organizations involved in the training of primary-level teachers in the province of Buenos Aires based on the regulatory framework. National and jurisdictional rules and regulations have been considered by analyzing the requirements stated, referring to guidelines or recommendations regarding the relationships among institutions at the tertiary and primary level and spaces of non-formal education for the performance of professional practices.
The revision of regulations allows us to conclude that Buenos Aires Province has so far not complied with the drafting of regulations regarding the ways of relationship among the training areas suggested in national regulations. This situation raises some discussions in this regard, as well as about the links and influences pedagogy and educational policies at different levels of implementation.
