Abstract

In this paper we put forward looking into the discussions and debates since the reflection field of the decolonial collaborate in unlearning the excessively eurocentric point of view that characterizes the teaching of history in our contexts of professional development. We will focus particularly on establishing the theoretical limits of what we call “didactic of stories others”. In order to do
so, we set some considerations regarding the possibilities of opening and detachment of the hegemonically legitimized, colonized and eurocentralized knowledge; which insurges from the decolonial narratives. In this course we
recognize that the teaching of history can generate significant and powerful didactic knowledge for the decolonization of school knowledge.
