El juicio de residencia al gobernador federal de Jujuy (Argentina) Pablo Alemán en 1839

El artículo aborda el juicio de residencia llevado a cabo al gobernador federal de Jujuy (Argentina) Pablo Alemán. Se estudia en profundidad tanto el proceso judicial y político como las condiciones de posibilidad que explican la realización del juicio en un momento de decisivas redefiniciones políticas en el norte de la Confederación Argentina. Nos interesa saber quiénes intervinieron en el proceso judicial, cómo se llevó a cabo, qué argumentos sostenían las acusaciones y qué representaciones políticas se podían leer en la coyuntura, así como el significado que el juicio tuvo en los entramados del poder provincial.
