To commemorate an anniversary: from the sex-gender system to queer studies

Abstract

On the anniversary of the journal Anclajes, this article reviews its contributions to issues of the sex-gender system, from the last decade of the 20th century to the most recent queer studies. I point out the integration of these contributions to a growing trend in the field of Humanities, both in central and peripheral countries, and describe the relevance of some of the articles published in the journal.

Author Biography

José Amícola, Universidad de La Plata

José Amícola se doctoró en Alemania en 1982 con una tesis sobre Roberto Arlt, que se publicó en Buenos Aires en 1984 como Astrología y fascismo en la obra de Arlt. Desde 1986 es profesor en la Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Otras publicaciones: Sobre Cortázar (1969), Manuel Puig y la tela que atrapa al lector (1992), Dostoievski. Polifonia y disonancia (1995), De la forma a la información (1997), Camp y posvanguardia (2000), La batalla de los géneros (2003), Autobiografía como autofiguración (2007). Junto a Graciela Speranza ha compilado las ponencias del Encuentro Internacional Manuel Puig (1998) y en colaboración con Jorge Panesi ha publicado la edición crítica de El beso de la mujer araña para la Colección Archivos (Número 42) con el patrocinio de la UNESCO (2002). Por último, con José Luis de Diego ha dirigido el volumen colectivo titulado La teoría literaria hoy (2007).
