Seeing reality from another place: El lado oscuro del corazón by Eliseo Subiela
Abstract
El lado oscuro del corazon (1992) de Eliseo Subiela se inscribe dentro de las propuestas del cinc argentino de democracia que se relacionan íntegramente con la literatura. Esta relación supone la reescritura que se hace de poesias de Oliverio Girando, Mario Bencdeui y Juan Gelman en el espacio heterogéneo del cinc. Este trabajo muestra cómo Subiela construye un discurso surrealista en este filme apropiándose de "miradas" existentes en el discurso poético. La idea de una realidad diferente de la cotidiana hace surgir a un personaje que se propone C0l110 creador de imaginarios mediante la búsqueda de lo nuevo y lo original en su escritura. A la vez. el filme indaga aquellos discursos sobre el poeta y la poesía que posee la sociedad global izada de fines de milenio. encamados en el personaje "la muerte" yen las diferentes mujeres que se relacionan con el protagonista.
